Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong knowledge of Selenium and Java.(Mandatory)
Hands on experience in API testing(Mandatory)
Setting up the Selenium environment: Preparing the environment, selecting a language, and setting up tools
Writing test cases in the preferred language, and adding and escalating scripts to improve them
Executing tests: Running test suites to identify bugs and faults
Detect and analyze software flaws, and engage with developers to find solutions.
Resolving issues: Assigning bugs to the development team
Analyzing user requirements: Providing feedback based on user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
Staying up to date: Keeping current with testing tools, trends, and methodologies
Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 4 - 10 years of relevant experience in Automation Testing using Java selenium is must.
Minimum 2 years of strong experience in API Automation testing using Rest Assured.
Strong expertise building Scenarios with BDD frameworks Cucumber, Spec flow or similar.
Strong in Java API testing/ Automation is a must Rest Assured/ Karate or similar.
Hands on Experience with Test automation frameworks – Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
Strong Coding skills – Java/ Jscript, Core Java, Typescript or similar.
Ability to Develop, design and build test automation frameworks from scratch – choosing right frameworks based on project needs
Cross browser testing / automation using Sauce Labs/ Browser Stack or similar.
Ability to work in a flexible/ fast paced Agile environment.
Strong communication skills, problem solving skills.
Define and report Quality Engineering metrics.
Lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers.
Hands on Experience on SQL.
