Job Description:

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  automation test scripts

  using

  Java and Selenium WebDriver

• Implement

  BDD frameworks using Cucumber (Gherkin feature files)

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Maven)
• Perform

  database testing

  using SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processing
• Execute automated test suites for

  functional, regression, and smoke testing

• Integrate automation scripts with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like

  JIRA

• Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts to understand requirements
• Ensure best practices in test automation, code quality, and reusability

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Java programming

• Expertise in

  Selenium WebDriver

• Experience with

  BDD Cucumber

  framework
• Good knowledge of

  TestNG / JUnit

• Hands-on experience in

  Database Testing

  (SQL, Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
