Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as

  Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or Playwright

  .
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive resolutions in collaboration with development teams.
• Continuously improve test automation practices and ensure best-in-class testing standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years of professional experience in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  .
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like

  Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, or similar

  .
• Experience in API testing using tools such as

  Postman

  or

  SoapUI

  .
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g.,

  Git

  ) and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools like

  JMeter

• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in testing microservices architecture.
