Automation Test Architect

As a Test Automation Architect at Cencora, you will play a crucial role in leading the test automation efforts and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Lead Automation Initiatives: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca and Selenium for various applications, ensuring robust coverage and efficient execution. - Framework Development: - Architect and implement scalable and reusable test automation frameworks supporting web and mobile applications. - Integrate frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing and deployment processes. - Continuously evaluate and improve existing frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Automation Metrics: - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for automation efforts. - Generate regular reports on automation progress and quality metrics for stakeholders. - Driving Project E2E: - Own the end-to-end automation testing process, from requirement analysis to test execution and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality expectations. - Team Leadership: - Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in best practices of test automation. - Test Strategy Development: - Collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation strategies aligned with project goals. - Test Execution: - Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team. - Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing practices and tools. - Collaboration: - Work closely with development, product management, and other teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Documentation: - Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and automation processes for knowledge sharing and compliance. In terms of qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, along with 10+ years of experience in software quality and testing. Preferred certifications include Certified Associate in Software Testing, Certified Software Quality Analyst, and Certified Test Engineer.
