Working with subcontractors and overseeing remote operations will also be part of your role. Providing technical support for AV when necessary, ensuring timely project completion, maintaining a database of all AV activities and updates, and reviewing installation reports are crucial aspects of this position. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree along with at least 5 years of experience in the AV field. It is essential to be certified in Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Biamp, CISCO, and CTS. Willingness to travel, if required, is a must for this role. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund. Your key tasks will include project handling, management, and coordination with contractors and higher management. Additionally, you will be in charge of the installation and commissioning of Automation Systems at Petrol Stations, project maintenance and support, as well as maintaining project timelines, plans, and documenting progress. Furthermore, you will be expected to configure and integrate forecourt devices with the automation system. Providing client support via phone calls and emails, with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems is also a crucial aspect of the role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and the regional language are essential, along with a good understanding of electronics and computer network systems. You will be required to conduct site visits for installation and problem resolution within approximately 150 km of the posting location. Key skills for this position include strong problem-solving abilities in electronics, familiarity with multi-meters, and a good grasp of computer and networking functionalities. Role & responsibilities - Generate electrical circuit, panel design, system architecture, networking layout and BOM list based on project specification. - To control and update electrical drawings for all projects. - Collaborate with mechanical team to determine cable requirements and routing plan. - Monitor, check and troubleshoot electrical assembly as per design and carry out I/O test with assembly team. - Provide technical support and train assembly team on electrical wiring standards. - Electrical design modularization and standardization. - Ensure electrical design comply to ISO and Singapore electrical standards. - Create internal written knowledge transfer material. - Create electrical manual and part lists for machines designed. - Conduct internal electrical design and circuit design software usage training. - Update design progress to department head. - Liaise with suppliers on components selection and quotation. - Ensure given tasks complete within given timeline. - Issue purchase request of electrical hardware and monitor spare parts inventory. Preferred candidate profile - Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 2 years of electrical design experience in automation system. - Proficient in Electrical design CAD software (E3.series will be added advantage) and Microsoft Office - Proven ability to complete tasks given with minimum supervision. - Capable to perform under tight schedule to meet project timeline.
