About the role:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies for our Generative AI-powered bots on RCS and WhatsApp. Your work will ensure the bot's functionality, performance, and conversational AI are robust, reliable, and provide a seamless user experience

Skills and qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing with strong proficiency in Java.

• In-depth experience with Selenium WebDriver for browser-based automation.

• Bot and AI Testing:

• Experience testing Gen AI models, NLP, and conversational bots is a must.
• Knowledge of chatbot platforms, APIs (WhatsApp Business API, RCS APIs), and testing methodologies for conversational AI.

• QA Best Practices:

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an Agile environment.

• Experience with test management tools like Jira and version control with Git.

• Problem-Solving:

   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in bot interactions.

• Communication:

   Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate test results, bugs, and technical concepts effectively. 

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a relevant telecom domain
• Certification in relevant areas of software testing or AI.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Automation Framework Development:

   Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and API testing tools (like REST Assured) for Gen AI bots.

• Test Scripting:

   Develop automated test scripts to cover end-to-end user journeys and complex conversational flows for WhatsApp and RCS bots.

• Platform-Specific Testing:

• RCS Bot:

   Set up test devices and environments for RCS. Verify the display and functionality of rich cards, carousels, suggested replies, and integrations with features like calendars and maps.

• WhatsApp Bot:

   Validate rich media elements and messaging functionality within the WhatsApp Business API. Test compliance with WhatsApp policies and user opt-in/opt-out behavior.

• Documentation and Reporting:

   Create clear, comprehensive test plans and bug reports. Provide detailed analysis of test results to stakeholders.
