As an Automation Network Infrastructure Engineer at NatWest Digital X in India, you will collaborate on building enterprise network solutions while ensuring compliance with security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements. Your role involves utilizing automation to enhance product performance, identify efficiencies, and work with colleagues across the bank to share best practices and develop solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute to and manage the selection, creation, and maintenance of technologies to meet customer needs and strategic targets - Develop products using modern engineering practices and tools - Provide improvement ideas, challenge designs, and review solutions and architectural decisions - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for network automation and configuration - Develop product roadmaps, manage product lifecycle, and support engineered products in response to customer feedback and new feature requests - Conduct technical peer reviews of network changes and deployments to ensure quality and consistency - Design and engineer intuitive, self-service infrastructure products and drive standards for the Meraki network - Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes, and provide workarounds - Develop technical skills through continuous learning and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions - Document network architecture, changes, and operational procedures - Participate in Change and Incident Management processes in line with bank governance standards and ITIL best practices - Work with key vendors in the delivery of infrastructure services and technology for the product **Qualifications Required:** - Extensive hands-on experience managing large enterprise network environments with 10,000+ devices - Background in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade networks using Cisco and Arista platforms - Experience with Arista Fabric with VxLAN on-prem deployment and Traditional Cisco enterprise deployment - Knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols including STP, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN - Experience with the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade Meraki networks - Familiarity with dashboard admin and management, deployment of MX, MS access and distribution layers, and MR Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting - Experience with multicast technologies and their interoperation across Cisco and Arista (VxLAN) platforms - Ability to work in high-pressure environments and respond to business impacting incidents - Experience in agile operations and projects, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience in financial services environments, with knowledge of market data delivery and trader voice infrastructure - Strong collaborative communication skills for articulating technical concepts clearly to business and technical stakeholders,
