As the Operations NPL Manager at Schaeffler, you will lead and manage a new development project within the operations to ensure project time, budget, and functionality goals are met. Your role involves providing detailed and realistic project plans, reporting project status to the Group Leader, and coordinating multiple project activities to ensure timely completion. You will also be responsible for developing the Manufacturing Concept based on product architecture and requirements, driving the Cross-Functional Team (CFT), and overseeing the implementation of equipment and processes necessary for the product. In addition, you will be responsible for project initiation and planning, making specific decisions within operations, communicating any delays or risks to the Project Manager, documenting operations activities, and ensuring the operations Launch Team is staffed. You will evaluate team performance, optimize resource utilization, and drive new process technology and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role also involves overseeing project execution, controlling timing, costs, and quality, and providing regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, approximately 10 years of experience with Automotive Quality standards, and practical understanding of modern production and quality management tools. Fluency in English, Hindi, and preferably Marathi is required. Knowledge of electromechanics, automation, and process-specific technologies is also essential.
