Automation Engineer / Senior Engineer

As an Industrial Automation Programmer, your role will involve the development, deployment, and testing of software for Pharmaceutical Packaging Machines according to Syntegon Germany standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with the Center of Competence for project requirements, planning, and execution. - Developing software in line with Center of Competence requirements and implementing new applications on machines. - Conducting software validation and testing using established protocols. - Developing new blocks of PLC/HMI/SCADA software for existing or new machine software. - Understanding the functionality of existing PLC and HMI/SCADA software and integrating them into new platforms. - Preparing, validating, and maintaining software design and functional documentation as per project requirements. To qualify for this role, you should have: - B.E. or Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical. - Experience in developing PLC and HMI/SCADA projects. - Expertise in developing TIA & S7 Siemens Softwares OR Allen Bradley's Control Logix platform. - Preferably, knowledge and experience with Intouch Wonderware platform. - Preferably, knowledge and experience with Schneider / Rexroth Motion codesys platform. - Extensive experience in developing PLC Automation software. - Knowledge of C programming will be an added advantage. - Domain knowledge of Packaging Machines or Special Purpose Machines in the Pharmaceutical domain will be preferred. - Expected Experience: 3-5+ Years in Industrial automation. Additional details of the company and other criteria include: - Willingness to travel across and outside India. - Willingness for a long-term assignment of at least 2 years in Germany. - Training Bond and Long-Term Deputation Bond.
