Automation Engineer (PLC Programmer)

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automation systems, specifically focusing on industrial automation and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). Your technical proficiency, innovation, and ability to optimize automation solutions will contribute to enhancing efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation systems utilizing PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and drives. - Program and debug PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) and HMIs according to project specifications. - Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to seamlessly integrate control systems with machinery. - Perform on-site installations, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment. - Identify and troubleshoot issues related to automation systems throughout and post-implementation phases. - Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and project reports. - Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards. - Continuously assess and enhance automation processes and systems. Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. - 3 years of practical experience in industrial automation or SPM projects. - Proficient in PLC programming, HMI configuration, and basic electrical circuit design. - Ability to interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs. - Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. - Demonstrated track record in designing and developing mechatronics systems, especially in robotics applications.
