About Client Hiring for One of the Most Prestigious Multinational Corporations Job Title : Automation Engineer Java with Selenium Experience : 4 to 8 years Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Create, enhance, and execute automated test cases for web-based applications. Implement test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Identify, document, and track bugs in JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure quality delivery. Perform API automation testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate . Work with cloud-based testing tools such as Selenium Grid, Sauce Labs, or BrowserStack . Maintain and optimize the test automation suite for improved performance. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for automation testing. Technical Skills : Strong experience (4+ years) in Selenium WebDriver with Java Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD). Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured/Postman. Proficiency in version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) . Good knowledge of SQL and database testing . Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment . Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Strong analytical and debugging skills.
