Create for happier, healthier lives, with love for nature Together, with kindness and humility, we deliver food innovations, craft inspired fragrances and develop beauty and wellbeing solutions that make people look and feel good Theres much to learn and many to learn from, with more than 16,000 employees around the world to explore ideas and ambitions with Dive into varied, flexible, and stimulating environments Meet empowered professionals to partner with, befriend, and stretch your skills alongside Every day, your energy, your creativity, and your determination will shape our future, making a positive difference on billions of people Every essence of you enriches our world We are Givaudan Human by nature, Automation Engineer Your future position As an Automation Engineer, you will support our F&B site located in Asia principally in Jigani, Bangalore You will work with different teams of engineers and technicians in providing technical support to manufacturing operations in process control, automation and industrial IT integration, Your responsibilities will be as follows: Responsible for managing process control system & PLC modifications/projects in design, specification, execution and qualification in accordance with established change control procedure, Develop opportunities for cost reduction through process control or automation improvement, efficiency enhancement, waste reduction and introduction of new and improved processes or equipment, Lead/assist validation activities in equipment/systems qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), including protocol development, execution and reporting, Facilitate CI projects in process control, processing and packaging operations, Responsible for administration, control, documentation, maintenance and management of the recipe systems in accordance to change control procedures, Assist CAPEX planning and budgeting, Interact and align with other disciplines for process development and improvement, Working with vendors and internal Subject Matter Experts to ensure the right automation solutions are deployed with the appropriate degree of integration and follow Givaudan standards, Liaise with CoE Engineering internal functions as well as IM&S and divisional functions to ensure standards are applied to new projects, Support standard Global Program deployment for sites scope, Ensure transfer of best practices from local organization to Global CoE Engineering team, Support site local team technology migration and integration with Givaudan ecosystem, Ensure compliance and enforcement of company, safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations as they apply, Supply technical experience to generate and review new ways of working in support of Operations and IM&S as well to review new and modified EH&S procedures, Responsible for content development for training and startup of new equipment where applicable, You Are you someone who wants to impact your world for the betterWho believes in the potential of business as a force for good in the worldWho wants to be a key part of the team who are driving this positive movement in GivaudanWho excels being in a culture where you can express yourself in a creative team environmentWho wants to collaborate and learn together with teams that are as passionate as you areThen join us, You Have: Education/ primary qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field Fluent in English Other language skills would be an advantage ie: Kannada Professional experience: In the area of responsibility, 5+ years in Automation, Experience in the Chemical, Pharma or FMCG industry, Project Management experience (field) required Required competencies: Demonstrates self-awareness;
