In this role, you are expected to: Responsibilities: - Serve as a hands-on Automation Engineer specialist within a rapidly expanding global business and development team. - Focus primarily on automation test deliverables. - Develop and execute automation test strategies aligned with project requirements. - Establish and maintain reusable automation frameworks to enhance test development and execution efficiency. - Identify and document software defects and collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members on automation best practices and methodologies. Job Qualifications: - 4-8 years of experience in Automation Engineering. - Proficiency in Automation Engineering tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Regression Testing, and Scripting. - Preferred certification in software testing, such as ISTQB. Job Skills: - Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile principles, and methodologies. - Familiarity with SQL and database management systems. - Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java. - Experience in implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools. - Good knowledge of TDD and BDD, with preference for experience in BDD automation frameworks. - Proficiency with bug tracking systems like Jira and Bugzilla. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to work independently, multitask, take ownership, and drive strategic initiatives.
