Job Description

Role Overview: As an Automation Consultant with C# at NTT DATA, you will be joining the Quality Engineering team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using C# with Selenium WebDriver and RestSharp. You will be responsible for automating functional test scenarios for web, mobile, and API testing, ensuring high-quality delivery in BFSI environments, and actively participating in Agile ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using C# with Selenium WebDriver and RestSharp. - Implement best practices in coding, debugging, and test automation architecture. - Automate functional test scenarios for web, mobile, and API testing. - Develop robust automated test suites for RESTful services using RestSharp. - Ensure test automation aligns with business requirements in Banking/Financial Services & Insurance systems. - Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues. - Support regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing in CI/CD pipelines. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and refine user stories. - Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices and coding standards. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar). - Contribute to test strategy, test governance, and continuous process improvements. - Monitor and report test results, metrics, and KPIs to stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
