Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled professional for the EUCS Tools SCCM Engineer role. This position is crucial for optimizing and maintaining our end-user computing environment and services. You'll work with relevant technologies, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing significantly to business objectives through expert analysis, development of configurations, implementation of solutions, and troubleshooting within the EUCS (End User Computing Services) tools, particularly SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) domain. Roles and Responsibilities: SCCM Administration: Administer and manage Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) , ensuring optimal performance and availability. This includes managing client health, package and application deployment, software metering, operating system deployment (OSD), and patch management. Endpoint Configuration: Develop and implement robust configurations for Windows endpoints to ensure security compliance, software updates, and optimized performance across the enterprise. Software Deployment: Plan, test, and deploy software applications, updates, and patches efficiently to a large user base using SCCM. Operating System Deployment (OSD): Manage and automate operating system deployment processes, including image creation, task sequences, and driver management within SCCM. Patch Management: Oversee and execute the patching cycles for Windows operating systems and third-party applications using SCCM, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure. Inventory & Reporting: Utilize SCCM's inventory capabilities to collect hardware and software information. Generate detailed reports on system configurations, software compliance, patch status, and other key metrics for management and auditing. Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues related to SCCM deployments, client communication, software installations, and endpoint configurations. EUCS Tool Integration: Work with and integrate SCCM with other End User Computing Services (EUCS) tools to streamline workflows and enhance endpoint management capabilities. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SCCM configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including security, network, and helpdesk, to ensure seamless endpoint operations and effective support for end-users. Preferred Candidate Profile: SCCM Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in administering and managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) , including deep knowledge of its various components and features. Windows OS Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems (client and server versions), Active Directory, Group Policy, and registry. Endpoint Management Concepts: Solid understanding of endpoint security, patch management, software deployment, and system imaging principles. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. Scripting (Plus): Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automating SCCM tasks and managing endpoints is a plus. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, SCCM) are a strong plus.
