Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing scrum teams working on HMI SW development, systems engineering, and functional safety for automotive applications. Your role will involve developing strategies for HMI activities, supporting teams on supplier management, planning integration and verification activities, and evaluating new development tools. Additionally, you will be expected to understand and inspire the team in foreseeing the roadmaps for HMI from a future perspective. Key Responsibilities: - Manage scrum teams working on HMI SW development, systems engineering, and functional safety - Utilize embedded C/C++, Python, Qt/QML, and automated verification competencies - Develop/contribute to building a strategy for the HMI activities - Support teams on supplier management based on SIPD - Plan, control, and follow up integration and verification activities - Estimate, establish, and follow up on the budget for integration and verification within the program - Identify and document stakeholders and their expectations for the HMI activities clearly - Evaluate new development tools and provide feedback and recommendations for the right way of developing interfaces - Understand the roadmap for HMI from a future perspective and inspire the team in foreseeing the roadmaps Qualification Required: - B.E/M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics and Communication with 10+ years of experience in SW/HMI development in the automobile industry - Experience in leading and managing people for at least 2-3 years - Good communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills - Exposure to ECU and electrical network - Good knowledge of Agile Methodology and principles - Good knowledge of Electronic Systems & Functions in Automotive - Adequate knowledge and skills in Truck Application Knowledge - Domain knowledge of the Driver Interface (HMI) can be a plus About the Company: The Volvo Group drives prosperity through transport solutions, offering trucks, buses, construction equipment, power solutions for marine and industrial applications, financing, and services that increase customers" uptime and productivity.
