As a Python Development Engineer in Infrastructure at Devo, you will play a crucial role in championing the infrastructure automation of the Autonomous SOC platform and its associated products. Your responsibilities will include leading the automation effort of SOC tools and pipelines during the release process, developing UI and backend test automation, and working closely with multi-functional teams to propose, review, and prioritize product requirements and bug fixes. You will be expected to possess a deep understanding of various SIEM security and analytics tools used by the Security Operations team and act as a champion for their needs. Additionally, you will participate in functional, system, and regression testing activities, collaboratively build and extend reliable and scalable automation infrastructure, and define and implement tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the automation framework. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of solid Software Automation experience using Python, a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and extensive experience working with a remote team. Proficiency in cloud service providers, particularly AWS, as well as experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, Python or Elixir-based web frameworks, and CI-CD tools is required. A self-starter who requires minimal supervision, a great team player with excellent communication skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are also essential qualities for this position.
