As an AutoCAD .NET Plugin Engineer at Agile Rays, you will be part of a dedicated CAD Automation squad at the India technology centre of a leading global retailer. In this role, you will develop in-house AutoCAD add-ins that streamline drafting workflows and boost design quality across worldwide teams. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with fellow C# developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Design and code AutoCAD plugins in C# / .NET from detailed design specifications. - Translate user feedback into workflow-enhancing features and continuous improvements. - Provide day-to-day support to AutoCAD users, diagnosing workflow issues and fixing bugs. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong fluency in C# programming (3-8 years overall development experience). - Hands-on use of AutoCAD .NET API and solid understanding of how AutoCAD stores data internally. - Familiarity with core CAD concepts and practical operation of AutoCAD software. - Proven background working in Agile teams (sprint ceremonies, version control with Git, peer reviews). - Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues to non-developers. Nice-to-Have Extras: - Scripting in AutoLISP, VBA or Python for quick prototypes. - UI experience with WPF/WinUI (MVVM). - Exposure to other Autodesk or CAD/BIM APIs (e.g., Revit, Inventor).
