AutoCAD Operator – Interior Designer (Furniture)

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Operator with a background in interior and furniture design to support our design and production teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, furniture details, and interior layouts based on design inputs. The role is crucial in translating creative ideas into accurate, production-ready CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate 2D drawings and layouts for interior and furniture projects using AutoCAD
• Prepare detailed working/shop drawings for modular and custom furniture items
• Draft space planning, electrical points, wall elevations, ceiling plans, and furniture fit-outs
• Interpret design sketches, client inputs, and convert them into professional CAD drawings
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams for technical clarification
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and team leads
• Maintain proper file naming, layer management, and documentation of all drawings
• Ensure all drawings meet industry and company standards for scale, clarity, and detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or CAD Drafting
• 1–3 years of experience in drafting for interior and/or furniture projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (mandatory), knowledge of SketchUp and MS Office is a plus
• Understanding of materials, hardware, and furniture construction techniques
• Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and speed in execution
• Ability to manage multiple drawing sets and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in a modular furniture or interior design company
• Knowledge of 3D tools like SketchUp, Revit, or rendering software (basic level)
• Familiarity with BOQ, measurement sheets, and on-site marking plans.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
