As an AutoCAD MEP Drafter at H2S Engineers Inc., your role involves setting up CAD MEP sheets and performing MEP drafting based on architectural drawings. You should be proficient in AutoCAD, capable of reading and understanding architectural PDFs and CAD files, and able to initiate sheet setup processes quickly and accurately to support timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare MEP sheet setups in AutoCAD from architectural PDFs and CAD files with minimal turnaround time. - Develop precise and coordinated MEP drawings based on design input, redlines, and project standards. - Demonstrate strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus. - Accurately read and interpret architectural drawings to inform MEP layouts. - Work with engineers, clients, and other team members to ensure consistency and integration of MEP systems. - Maintain well-organized project files, revisions, and related documentation. - Ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness of all drawings before submission. Qualifications: - ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, or a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD for MEP drafting. - Ability to read and understand architectural CAD and PDF drawings accurately. - Revit knowledge is an advantage but not required. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
