AutoCAD Engineer

As a skilled CAD Drafter, your main responsibility will be to create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD software in accordance with project specifications. You will be tasked with interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering sketches and transforming them into precise CAD drawings. Additionally, you will need to revise and update existing drawings based on engineering modifications or field markups. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with engineers and project managers to comprehend design requirements and ensure drawing accuracy. It will be essential for you to maintain well-organized drawing records and version control for all design documentation. Adherence to industry standards, client specifications, and internal design guidelines is crucial to guarantee quality output. Furthermore, you will contribute to site execution layouts, bill of quantities (BOQ), and as-built drawings. Supporting cross-functional teams throughout planning, execution, and audit phases with updated CAD files is also part of your responsibilities. You will be accountable for conducting quality checks of drawings before their release for construction or fabrication and managing drawing databases while meeting project deadlines.
