AutoCAD Draughtsman/woman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman with experience in ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, Structured Cabling, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and layouts based on project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D drawings for ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, etc.) using AutoCAD. · Create shop drawings, as-built drawings, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and layout plans. · Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements. · Update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and client feedback. · Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, Architectural) to avoid clashes. · Maintain drawing files, documentation, and version control. · Assist in quantity take-offs and material submittal preparations when required. Key Skills: · Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus). · Good knowledge of ELV systems: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Voice/Data, Public Address. · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. · Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. · Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards. · Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
