AutoCAD Draughtsman/woman

Position Overview: The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects. This role involves translating design concepts into precise drawings that can be used for construction and fabrication. The Draughtsman will work closely with designers, and project managers to ensure that all drawings are accurate and align with the overall design vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Drawings:

· Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on design specifications and requirements.

· Produce accurate and detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for interior spaces.

· Prepare construction drawings and documents for client approval and contractor use.

2. Design Collaboration:

· Work closely with interior designers and to understand design concepts and requirements.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

3. Revisions and Updates:

*Revise drawings based on feedback from designers, clients, and project managers.

· Ensure all changes and updates are accurately reflected in the drawings.

· Maintain a clear record of revisions and updates for reference.

3. Quality Control:

· Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.

· Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

4. Project Documentation:

· Organize and maintain project drawing files and documentation. Ensure all drawings are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.

· Prepare drawing sets for client presentations and construction packages.

5. Site Visits and Measurements:

· Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and gather necessary information for drawings.

· Verify on-site conditions and ensure drawings reflect actual site dimensions and conditions.

· Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to resolve any on-site issues related to drawings.

Qualifications:

* Auto Cad Designer/ Diploma/ Civil/ Diploma in Architecture
