You are a professional CAD draftsman with 5 to 10 years of experience in the faade line. You will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans for various construction and manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your primary focus will be on using AutoCAD software for 2D drafting and delivering Shop Drawing for Residential, faade/curtain wall projects. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Preparing rough sketches and detailed work using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems. - Performing 2D drafting with AutoCAD software to deliver Shop Drawings for Residential, faade/curtain wall projects. - Creating various technical drawings by following specifications and calculations. - Calculating materials and weight limitations for the drawings. - Preparing quotations based on specifications. - Collaborating with architects and engineers to incorporate their knowledge into the drawings. - Working with the engineering team for preparation, review, and redrafting. - Ensuring final designs comply with building regulations. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment, sharing opinions with appropriate personnel. - Seeking information clarification and feedback about drawings, discussing project challenges with relevant departments. - Demonstrating problem-solving and analytical skills to meet drawing specifications. - Staying updated on technological advances through daily work activities, company-provided training, and other educational resources. - Proficiency in Word and Excel. - Ability to work under tight deadlines. **Company Details:** CSD Faade Systems is a leading manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors in Chennai, with over fifteen years of expertise.
