AutoCAD Draughtsman

An AutoCAD Draftsman in civil and mechanical engineering creates detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for projects like buildings, bridges, machinery, and infrastructure using AutoCAD software. Key responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, ensuring designs meet industry standards and project specifications, preparing bills of materials, and managing drawing documentation. This role requires strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical specifications to produce accurate technical blueprints. Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and schematics for civil engineering projects (roads, buildings, infrastructure) or mechanical components (machinery, equipment, piping systems).

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and design specifications.

• Technical Accuracy: Ensure all technical drawings are precise and adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project guidelines.

• Revisions and Updates: Modify and update existing drawings based on client feedback, design changes, or new project requirements.

• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including bills of materials, parts lists, and project reports to support the design and construction processes.
