AutoCAD Draftsman/woman

As a Draftsman/ Design Engineer at our company, your main role will be to provide drafting and modeling support for projects and product-related activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and AutoCAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/ Project engineers - Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts, and weldments - Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements - Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models, and drawings - Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in the company timesheet regularly To be successful in this role, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2-5 years of practical modeling and drafting experience in an Engineering/Design Product Development environment. Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable. You should also be highly proficient in AutoCAD, have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and understand manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and GD &T.
