AutoCAD Draftsman

Please Note: Candidate will be initially posted to Head office at Ahmedabad for 10 months and then will be transferred to Bharuch Location.
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.

- Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, and piping layouts for tanks and equipment.

- Interpret engineering sketches, P&IDs, and project specifications into accurate technical drawings.

- Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure correct detailing of materials, welds, and tolerances.

- Revise and update drawings as per design modifications and project requirements.

- Ensure drawings comply with international standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) and company practices.

- Coordinate with engineers and fabrication/site teams to resolve drawing issues.

- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of drawings and revisions.

- Support design reviews, site coordination, and project execution as required.

- To support the project team in Managing the documents from engineering consultants and storing them in proper manner.

- Candidate shall be ready to work in project execution if required.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting or equivalent qualification.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks or equivalent CAD tools.

- Understanding of welding symbols, and detailing practices.

- Ability to read, prepare & interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.

- Effective communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary project team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
