Job summary

The AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects within the industrial and residential sectors. This role requires collaborating closely with engineers and architects to translate their designs into precise CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• CAD Drafting: Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD software to meet specifications and design requirements of industrial and residential projects.
• Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive sets of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers and architects to understand project requirements and design concepts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Drawing Review: Review and revise drawings based on project feedback and specifications changes, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance on CAD drawings and designs to the project team and other stakeholders.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in drafting and designing for industrial and residential projects.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting and design work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools
