AutoCAD Designer with Solar Structural experience

As an AutoCAD Designer with experience in solar structural design, you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D CAD models for solar panel structures, including mounting systems, tracking systems, and foundations. Your role will involve developing detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for solar panel installations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as engineering, procurement, and construction will be essential to ensure design accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will conduct site visits to gather data, inspect installations, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. It will be your responsibility to establish and uphold design standards, templates, and best practices for solar panel structure design. Working independently on projects, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines will be crucial aspects of this role. Effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, will be necessary for successful project execution. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical, or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in CAD design, preferably in the solar industry, is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, both in 2D and 3D modeling and drafting, is essential.
