AutoCAD Designer / Draughtsman Mechanical

As an CAD Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and drafting process of various projects. You will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects in fields such as architecture, engineering, construction, or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project objectives and translate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Review and analyze technical documents, sketches, and specifications to identify potential issues and suggest solutions.
• Modify and revise drawings as necessary to accommodate changes or feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files for future reference.
• Coordinate with other team members to integrate drawings with other project components and disciplines.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to provide technical expertise and support to project teams.
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and industry best practices to continuously improve skills and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
• Experience in drafting and creating technical drawings in a professional setting, preferably in fields such as architecture, engineering, or construction.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations related to drafting and design.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or related field is preferred.
• Additional certifications in CAD or related software may be advantageous.
