AutoCAD Designer (Civil Engineer)

As an AutoCAD Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the new building projects by preparing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and structural plans based on design specifications and project requirements. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure the finalization of design details and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and detailed plans for new building construction. - Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to finalize design details. - Create structural, architectural, and reinforcement drawings as per project specifications. - Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. - Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches. - Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material estimates when required. - Coordinate with site teams for design clarifications and updates. - Maintain drawing documentation and version control for all design files. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory). - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of other design software like Revit, SketchUp, or Staad Pro is an advantage. - 15 years of experience in building design and drafting (freshers with good skills may also apply). - Strong understanding of civil and structural drawing principles. - Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and visualization ability. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in residential or commercial building projects. - Knowledge of building codes, RCC detailing, and site layout preparation. - Familiarity with estimation or quantity surveying will be a plus.
