Job Description

You will be joining Qualcomm India Bangalore Development Center, working on a dedicated team for the Connected Infotainment segment under a global Qualcomm Automotive initiative. This role offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Wireless, Multimedia, and Embedded technologies to revolutionize the connected car experience. By integrating connectivity with advanced infotainment systems, you will contribute to making travel safer, more enjoyable, and efficient for both passengers and drivers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 2~5 years of work experience in embedded software and/or driver development - Demonstrate strong analytical and debugging skills while working with teams across multiple time zones - Apply your expertise in C/C++ programming and device driver programming in Linux/RTOS like QNX/Greenhills - Fluent in industry standard software development tools such as debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs, and build tools **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in relevant field - 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Solid understanding of latest Android versions, Android Audio Framework, Audio HAL, ALSA, and DSP drivers - Knowledge of Audio and voice codecs, experience in audio/video processing pipeline implementation for media applications - Familiarity with audio/video pre- and post-processing algorithms for subjective quality enhancement Join Qualcomm, an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
