These aspects include analysis and graphical representation of wiring harness and connector information, researching design and release documents, product development documents, plant installation drawings, parts detail drawings, technical service bulletins, CAD data, and hands-on procedures on Automotives. Responsibilities Work on automotive wiring harness, harness routing, comparison of harness, and connector information updates. Information gathering from provided documents and physical schematics Creation of circuit schematics for new model year release and updates in existing schematics using illustration tool. Work on clean up activity to migrate information as per clients global standards. Work on updating wiring harness information in client system for Model year release. Collaborate with wiring team located at North America for effective resolution of enquiry. Update various tracking sheets and advise team leader/manager regarding progress of work. Participate in (internal/customer) meetings to update status of work assignments & for technical discussions. Provide training/guidance to less experienced authors. Facilitate Customer Satisfaction by means of adhering to standards, timelines & qualitative output. Additional Advantage Knowledge of development of automotive wiring harness documents. Hands on experience in illustration tool like adobe illustrator CS2. Good in communication & customer handling. Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics. Responsibilities Develops technical documentation based on the level of equity assigned. Develop diagnostic procedures using Part 2 Spec, wiring schematics and other engineering data. Performs teardown, removal and installation, disassembly and assembly processes to document procedures Responsible for delivery of projects which are on time, within budget and accurate Validates technical information based on client-supplied information Consults with various client contacts and subject matter experts to gather product specific information Participates in meetings with clients, subject matter experts and departmental co-workers Authors information using various electronic systems, such as ArborText / XMeta, GradeX, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word and Excel.
