Author Relationship Manager - Team Lead

Our publishing platform enables writers to convert their stories and ideas into books that people can hold, read, and connect with.The Team Lead will guide a group of Publishing Managers, ensure smooth progress of author projects, monitor timelines, and maintain publishing standards. This role requires strong coordination abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage author expectations and team performance effectively.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Oversee Publishing Managers daily workflows, ensuring accurate project tracking and complete, timely documentation across all milestone communications.
• Identify process gaps, follow up on pending or delayed updates, and coordinate targeted training or support to maintain operational excellence.
• Ensure all milestone activities are thoroughly documented, monitor and record delay reasons, and address roadblocks promptly to prevent escalations.
• Support the team in delivering clear and timely author communication, manage high-sensitivity cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and timelines.
• Provide structured project and team status reports to the Manager, maintain comprehensive documentation, and ensure all deliverables progress in alignment with defined publishing processes.
  

A PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS

• 1 to 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, operations, coordination, or similar responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working with authors and guiding team members.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Fluent in English and Hindi ; knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
