Responsibilities: Project Work: Participate in SAP PM implementation/rollout, and support projects. Configuration: Configure SAP PM modules to meet business requirements. Data Migration: Perform data upload and migration activities. Enhancements: Develop and implement enhancements and custom developments. Interfaces: Work on interfaces with third-party systems. Test Scripts: Create and execute test scripts for various scenarios. Defect Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve defects in the system. Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders. Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP consultants and project teams. Calibration and Refurbishment: Manage calibration and refurbishment processes for equipment and assets. Reporting to the Manager of Technical Documentation, you will work closely with a global network of engineers, product managers, and developer success professionals to understand real-world use cases for identity and access management. You will create practical technical content that guides Okta's community of developers to adopt and deploy our solutions successfully. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite per week) Note: "This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our Bengaluru, IN office during the first week of employment." What you’ll be doing Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective developer documentation for Okta products. Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content. Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams. Collaborate with developers to review API documentation. Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance. What you’ll bring to the role Minimum 4 years relevant experience writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products. Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing SDK, CLI or developer tools documentation. Experience writing developer documentation and release notes. Experience with Markdown, Visual Studio Code, and source control tools such as Git and GitHub. Enjoys collaborating with other writers. And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! Strong ability to understand the application of security products in the real world and produce use case-based content. Knowledge of Okta or similar identity and access management solutions.
