As a Senior Java Developer at our PAN India location (Cognizant Office Locations) with a Hybrid Working Model (3 Days WFO), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring that the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications are top-notch. Your responsibility will also include identifying and correcting bottlenecks, fixing bugs, and helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation. In this role, you will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies is essential, as you need to be adaptable to changes and new requirements. Your proven experience of 5+ years as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Spring Boot will be critical. Experience in developing RESTful APIs, knowledge of microservices architecture, and familiarity with tools such as Cucumber framework, Circuit breaker, Redis cache, JMeter, Authentication authorization, and version control systems like Git are also required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills will be beneficial in this role.
