Role Overview: As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in accurately preparing individual, company, and trust tax returns within specified deadlines. Your responsibilities will also include performing month-end and year-end adjustments, collaborating with the accounting team, staying updated on Foreign Tax Credits (FTC), and maintaining depreciation schedules for various assets. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare individual, company, and trust tax returns accurately and within specified deadlines. - Perform month-end and year-end adjustments, including accrued interest, expense provisions, income accruals, pre-paid expenses, and deferred income. - Collaborate effectively with the accounting team to ensure exceptional client service delivery. - Utilize accounting software such as QBO, XERO, and MYOB proficiently. - Stay updated on the latest developments in Foreign Tax Credits (FTC). - Calculate and maintain depreciation schedules for various assets. Qualifications Required: - Education background in Qualified/Dropout CA/CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com., B.Com. - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation. Skills Required: - Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH. - Thorough understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
