Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper Australian Accounting Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting practices (CA or CPA) About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper with a strong background in Australian accounting standards and practices. The ideal candidate will be managing bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients. This role offers the flexibility to work from home, depending on the candidates profile and performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients using platforms like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Prepare and review BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation reports Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts ,inter company reconciliation Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standards Liaise with Australian accountants and clients to resolve queries Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting Support in preparation of financial statements and management reports Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Strong understanding of Australian GST, BAS, payroll, and superannuation Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Preferred Attributes: Experience working with Australian accounting firms or clients Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and remote collaboration tools Ability to adapt to changing regulations and client needs Work Environment: Location: Mumbai (WFH option available based on performance and business needs) Flexible working hours to accommodate Australian time zones Collaborative and growth-oriented team culture
