Business Development Executive (BDE) - IT Sales Location: Remote Type: Full-time Reports to: Co-founder About Us We are a fast-growing Software Consultancy delivering multiple small and mid scale projects each month. We aim to maintain high quality, rapid delivery, and excellent client communication. We are looking for motivated BDEs who can bring in consistent business, maintain client relationships, and help us grow. Role Purpose As a BDE, your core responsibility is to bring in new projects , ensuring a stable pipeline. You will also maintain relationships with leads, understand client needs, pitch our offerings, follow up and help the company grow sustainably. Key Responsibilities Generate leads and business opportunities through outbound activities (cold calls, emails), networking, referrals, etc. Identify prospective clients, follow up, set up meetings, present proposals/demos. Understand the service offerings (frontend dev, backend dev, project management & client communication), and match client needs accordingly. Negotiate terms, close deals or hand over to concerned internal teams where required. Maintain a strong pipeline: track status of each lead, follow-ups, proposals, and conversions. Report on performance metrics: number of leads, proposals, conversions, revenue generated, etc. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, project delivery) to ensure client requirements are clear, expectations set, and deliverables aligned. Maintain good relations with clients for potential repeat business or referrals. Keep up to date with competitor offerings, market trends, client feedback to adapt pitch / strategy. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (any field) — preference for Business Administration / Sales / Marketing or related. Proven experience in sales / business development / lead generation (1–3 years preferred). Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Strong negotiation skills and ability to present/propose services convincingly. Good understanding of client service, ability to ask the right questions to understand requirements. Self-motivated, target-driven, resilient, able to work under pressure. Comfortable using CRM tools / tracking lead pipelines. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership. Performance Metrics / Targets Target: Bring in 4- 5 new projects/month . Maintain a minimum conversion rate (leads → proposals → closed deals). Revenue / sales target per month.
