JOB DESCRIPTION Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Language Proficiency Reading comprehension : Ability to understand queries, product descriptions, and conversational text in English. Basic grammar and sentence structure : Recognizing and correcting incorrect or unclear phrases. Paraphrasing skills : Ability to rephrase content clearly and concisely without altering meaning. Vocabulary awareness : Understanding of commonly used eCommerce/product-related terms (e.g., features, specifications). 2. Analytical Thinking Logical reasoning : Ability to interpret intent behind queries or actions based on limited information. Judgment of relevance : Deciding whether a given response, product, or follow-up is relevant to the main query. Attention to detail : Catching subtle errors, missing information, or inconsistent statements. 3. Digital & Platform Familiarity Comfort with spreadsheets and web tools : Basic Excel/Google Sheets operations like filtering, tagging, and commenting. Familiarity with eCommerce formats : Understanding how online listings are structured (title, features, pricing). Basic navigation skills : Ability to use internal tools, annotation interfaces, or browser searches if required. 4. Information Structuring Summarization skills : Ability to condense large or complex inputs into simple, meaningful outputs. Question framing : Creating or identifying clear, concise questions based on conversational inputs. Categorization : Assigning correct tags or labels to content based on context (e.g., product type, topic, or intent). 5. Work Attitude & Cognitive Traits Focus and consistency : Sustained attention over repetitive judgment or annotation tasks. Clarity of thought : Ability to make objective decisions, even when the input is vague or unfamiliar. Process-following ability : Capable of adhering to clear guidelines or logic-based SOPs. Trainability : Willingness and aptitude to learn new workflows or domain knowledge over time. 6. Data Labeling Annotate datasets (Text) as per detailed guidelines. Identify trends, query clusters, and share insights from labeled data. Work on diverse SOPs like Product Summarization and Intent Model Labelling . 7. Data & Model Evaluation Evaluate model outputs against Client-provided guidelines. Suggest enhancements to evaluation guidelines for improved accuracy. Perform comparative evaluations across different model versions. Additional Responsibilities Share daily/weekly/monthly reports and insights. Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for escalations. Present action plans and track performance improvements. Participate in weekly calibration and quality audits. Qualifications Bachelors degree in any field; technical background preferred. Experience in data operations, BPO, or AI/ML labeling is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and process adherence.
