As a Quality Manager at GD NASH in Pune, you will be responsible for various aspects related to quality assurance and control of rotary components and skid manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the world-class quality of Nash Products by implementing corrective actions and maintaining good engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include preparing inspection plans for shop floor activities, conducting Non-Destructive Testing, creating quality dossiers for customer approval, and coordinating various audits such as customer audit, ISO 9001 audit, and EHS audit. You will work closely with the Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure timely and defect-free supply of customer orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating post-order customer site feedback on quality issues and working with the Service and Engineering teams for timely issue closure. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 15-18 years of experience in quality assurance and control. You should have proven experience in quality management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a strong understanding of QMS requirements. Certification in Non-Destructive Testing and prior experience in handling inspection of EPCs, Power plant, and Oil & Gas customers will be beneficial. Experience in fabrication of materials like SS, CS, Duplex Stainless Steel, Super Duplex SS, various welding processes, and inspection of components with specific requirements will be essential. Certification in Welding Inspection and Auditor certification in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 will be considered an added advantage.
