Audit Senior- Financial Services (Broker-Dealer)

As a US Audit Senior specializing in Financial Services-Broker Dealer at Citrin Cooperman, you will be a part of one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the United States, known for its exceptional work culture and dedication to employee satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting Financial Statements audits in compliance with US GAAP for Broker & Dealer and Funds, preparing and analyzing financial statements, evaluating internal controls, and coordinating day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up. Your deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards accepted in the United States will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our audit processes. To excel in this role, you must possess a CPA (or in process) or CA qualification with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with colleagues in the US offices regularly. Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, and a proactive approach to project management will be crucial for success in this position. Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills, the ability to work independently while fostering collaboration, a sense of urgency in project execution, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Knowledge of Caseware, caseview, or IDEA will be considered a plus.
