Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Group Internal Audit (GIA) team at Standard Chartered Bank as an Audit Manager for the Markets and FCS Operations team within the Technology and Operations portfolio. In this global role, you will lead and execute audits, both stand-alone and integrated with other audit functions, to support the Group Operations and Operational Resilience portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work on complex audits such as business integrated and multi-location high-risk audits, engaging with both Group and Country Stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead audits or assist as a Team Member in delivering audits, ensuring resources are well-coordinated with appropriate time allocation and defined outcomes. - Drive audits as a Team Lead, ensuring key risks are considered during audit planning, producing high-quality audit work, and supporting in drafting audit reports. - Execute audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting efficiently and effectively as a Team Member, meeting budget, quality standards, and timelines. - Apply a deep understanding of GIA methodology standards and the GIA system in all assigned GIA activities. - Evaluate quantitative and qualitative data using data analytics to identify underlying issues, patterns, and root causes. - Communicate openly throughout the audit process within GIA and with the auditee. - Monitor and track audit issues and action plans, reporting overdue items to the Head of Audit (HOA) and escalating high-risk issues if not resolved timely.
