We are seeking a motivated Construction Audit Consultant with up to five years of experience in audit compliance or a construction-related role. In this position, you will support our audit team in reviewing construction contracts and financial documentation, ensuring accuracy, cost compliance, and adherence to contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting audits of construction contracts, with a focus on cost verification and compliance. Review and analyze financial recordsincluding invoices, payment applications, and change ordersagainst contract requirements. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to obtain and validate documentation. Prepare clear and detailed audit reports summarizing findings and actionable recommendations. Support pre-construction contract reviews to establish effective financial controls. Contribute to contract administration, planning, billing, budgeting, and coordination. Perform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billing reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field. Up to 5 years of experience in audit compliance or the construction industry. Familiarity with construction project documentation and billing processes. Ability to support Eastern Time Zone (U.S.) working hours when required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related audit/financial software. Preferred Experience Hands-on experience in construction contract auditing. Knowledge of industry standards such as COSO and GAO Yellow Book.
