As a Software Engineer in Test at Bose Professional, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting the automated test framework for new-generation AV systems. Your expertise in Python and experience with distributed systems test frameworks will be essential in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our cutting-edge audio solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, documentation creation, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting company objectives through additional tasks as needed. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-5 years of experience in Test Automation, with a strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented design. Hands-on experience in creating automated system tests for software applications controlling networked hardware devices across multiple platforms is highly desirable. Experience with automated desktop/web GUI testing tools and API testing for web and hardware devices is also required. Preferred qualifications include an understanding of ethernet-based computer networking and basic knowledge of electronics and audio/video connections. Strong communication and documentation skills in English are essential for this position.
