As an Audio Visual Technician at Green Media in Kochi, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video equipment for live events, conferences, and corporate functions. Your technical expertise and troubleshooting skills will ensure a seamless audio-visual experience for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate audio-visual equipment such as led walls, microphones, projectors, video screens, speakers, and soundboards. - Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to understand AV requirements and provide technical support. - Perform electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction based on layout diagrams and schedules. - Conduct tests on videos, audio, and signals, and troubleshoot any arising issues. - Manage live audio and video feeds to execute flawless events meeting client's standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during events. - Safely disassemble equipment, wiring, and support tools. - Maintain inventory of equipment, wiring, and accessories ensuring proper storage. - Ensure all AV equipment is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance. - Perform cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audiovisual equipment. - Generate expense reports for management. - Stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and advancements. Qualifications: - Diploma or ITI training in electronics, electrical, audio visual technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment and technology, including lighting and camera techniques. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in audiovisual editing equipment and software. - Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility. - Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills. - Physical fitness to transport and set up heavy equipment. - Good hearing and eyesight.
