Operations Expert, AVP Position Overview In Scope of Position based Promotions (INTERNAL only) Job Title: Operations Expert, AVP Location: Bangalore, India Role Description Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Completeness of task as per the KPI. Focus on quality (Right time, First Time). Review of MIS, Out Going External Emails, Work Allocation. Ensures timely response and action of queries received. Managing and escalation of aged / high value breaks with estimated potential or actual impact. Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly dash boards including plans for internal reviews, audits, and walkthroughs. Conducting of root cause analysis and documentation to ensure fixing of issue at source. Partnering with teams upstream and end users for timely break resolution through identification of weaknesses/insufficiencies in the processes and controls due to changes in operating environment. F2B understanding from a system and process perspective whilst understanding the impact of market trends on process flows. Running daily team huddles on staffing, adequacy of procedures and controls alongside priorities for the day. Identify training needs for team with partnership of the VP to improve performance, team knowledge of common errors and how to avoid/correct, cross training/back-up planning, seating, equipment, and technology. Contributes to global projects and business objectives. Working on feedback and improvement areas provided by the VP during the monthly 1:1 Tracking and closures of any open and risk accepted Self-Identified Issues. Your skills and experience Experience / Requirements: Working knowledge and hands on experience on Listed Derivatives Futures & Options functioning. Cleared OTC business and market knowledge would be added advantage. Min 8-12 Years of experience in Listed Derivatives. Experience in handling teams, regionally and virtually. Basics of KYC requirement, on boarding requirements for a new client. Knowledge on OMNIBUS & Segregated accounts. Well-versed in use of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of GMI, Clearvision, FIA Docs, Atlantis, Consensys, etc. related systems. Knowledge of required exchange systems and interfaces. Ability to turn around BAU accurately, even under tight deadlines, with agility for problem solving. Good communication and interpersonal skills. As a Site Reliability Engineer, youll work closely with other SREs and developers to ensure Vimeo remains available, fast, and secure. We own the core infrastructure on which most Vimeo apps sit, including system configuration, basic network services, container orchestration, metrics collection, and load balancing. We&aposre building tools that are used by all of engineering to manage production, with the goal of providing a consistent and powerful platform. You&aposll be instrumental in making Vimeo the best toolset for video creators. What you&aposll do: With the rest of the SRE team, own the base production infrastructure: cluster provisioning, configuration management, load balancing, access control, container orchestration, and the tools we use to interact with all that stuff. Build tools to make our infrastructure more consistent, more reliable, more observable, and require less manual intervention. Consult with other engineering teams at Vimeo to improve their reliability and operational processes. Manage changes to our production environment. Take part in a 12x7 on-call rotation (split with our team in Bangalore), to triage and troubleshoot production issues. Skills and knowledge you should possess: 5+ years of experience with Linux system internals, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, DNS), application optimization, and/or similar SRE-adjacent fields. Experience building applications, beyond basic scripting, using at least one language Vimeo uses (Python, Go, Ruby, or PHP) and a desire to learn more. The SRE team uses primarily Python and Go, with occasional shell scripts. An understanding of configuration management tools (we use Chef, Atlantis, Terraform), and containerization toolsets. Working knowledge of large scale system design, monitoring, and operational practices. A bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical system administration and programming experience. Bonus points: Experience in high-throughput environments (>100k requests/second). Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure) A track record of automating away your job. Should be aware of VPC Virtual private cloud. Technical Skills: Terraform and Automation AWS Cloud watch Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). DevOps with CI/CD pipelines. Incident management resolution and reporting. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration. Understanding of networking protocols, VPNs, and firewalls. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of security best practices, especially within blockchain environments. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
