Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Accounting & taxation Trainer to join our esteemed faculty team. This role is pivotal in imparting both practical and theoretical knowledge to our students, ensuring they are well-equipped for successful careers in accounting and finance. The Accounting Trainer will be instrumental in teaching real-world skills through hands-on experiences and working with actual business documents, preparing students to handle professional accounting tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction in accounting and finance to both graduate and undergraduate commerce students. Teach Business/Professional Accounting & Taxation modules, ensuring students grasp both practical and theoretical concepts. Provide hands-on training in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Peachtree, and QuickBooks, as well as MS Excel and Word. Instruct students on manual accounting practices, financial management concepts, and work with real-world accounting documents like invoices, challans, vouchers, and receipts. Guide students in building accounts from scratch to finalization, including preparation of balance sheets, trading profit & loss accounts, and other financial statements. Teach taxation topics such as GST (basics, input/output tax, set-offs, and return filing), income tax, TDS, TCS, advance tax, and e-filing of GST and Income Tax returns. Develop and implement student-centered learning strategies, ensuring an engaging and supportive educational environment. Customize teaching methods to address diverse academic and practical needs. Write, mark, and provide feedback on assessments according to academic standards. Track and manage student attendance, performance, and progress, implementing strategies to support student success. Collaborate with colleagues on research and co-curricular activities to enhance student learning. Assist in developing new curricula and programs to align with evolving industry and educational requirements. Qualifications: M.Phil in Commerce, M.Com, or B.Com, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Professional Accounting, Finance, or Taxation, or a combined 3 years of work experience, including 2 year of teaching and 1 year of industry experience as an Accountant. Candidates with CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), or ACCA qualifications will be considered, even with short-term teaching experience, provided they demonstrate excellent proficiency in Tally software. Professional certifications in Accountancy or Finance are advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, Peachtree, and QuickBooks is required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with effective public speaking abilities. Exceptional attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
