Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock levels of all materials/products. Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with system records. Ensure systematic storage and labelling of products for easy identification and retrieval. Keep records of stock inward/outward movement. Dispatch & Receiving Oversee loading/unloading of goods. Check and verify delivery challans, invoices, and received goods. Coordinate with the logistics team for timely dispatch of orders. Ensure correct packaging and documentation before shipment. Vendor & Transport Coordination Coordinate with transporters for pickups and deliveries. Follow up with vendors and suppliers for incoming stock. Manage schedules for incoming containers and shipments. Workforce & Space Management Supervise helpers and warehouse staff. Ensure organized storage to optimize available space. Delegate tasks and monitor performance of ground-level staff. Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain all records related to inventory, dispatch, receipts, and wastage (if any). Generate weekly and monthly inventory movement reports. Flag any discrepancies or damages immediately. Maintenance & Safety Maintain cleanliness and order in the godown. Implement safety measures for storage and handling of goods. Ensure proper handling of delicate or premium materials (e.g., wallcoverings, flooring, etc.). Requirements: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in warehouse/godown management. Familiarity with inventory software or Excel-based inventory tracking. Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. Ability to manage a small team and multitask efficiently. Physically fit and able to supervise ground-level operations when needed.
