Job Title: Director – Media Solutions Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Job Summary: This role is responsible for leading the digital media planning and buying function with a strong focus on strategic leadership, new business acquisition, and team development. The Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through high-impact media strategies, leading client pitches, and mentoring a team of digital media professionals. Key Responsibilities: • Leading the digital media planning and buying function, aligning strategies with business goals, client objectives, and performance targets. • Driving new business growth by owning the media strategy component of key pitches— developing media narratives, building innovative plans, and presenting to prospective clients with authority and insight. • Collaborating closely with business development and account teams to identify opportunities, craft winning proposals, and close new accounts. • Identifying the client’s target demographic and evaluating how valuable a publisher’s audience is for the client’s brand and campaign goals. • Assessing market competition and collaborating with clients to develop distinctive strategies— monetarily and creatively—that position their brand effectively in the digital space. • Managing large-scale digital budgets, building ROI models, and forecasting performance with accuracy. • Monitoring active campaigns, evaluating performance metrics like clicks and conversions, and applying analytical insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and conversion rates. • Staying updated with the evolving digital media environment, learning new platforms, and analyzing media data to support informed decision-making for clients and internal teams. Requirements: • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on and leadership experience in digital media planning, buying, and performance marketing. • A strong background in leading and winning new business pitches with demonstrated experience in building persuasive media narratives and decks. • Proven success in building and managing digital media teams, with strong leadership and people development skills. • Deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including programmatic, paid social, SEO/SEM, mobile, analytics, and e-commerce. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to forecast, manage, and justify large media investments. • A well-developed network of media partners and platforms, with strong negotiation skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a client-first mindset and the ability to manage executive-level conversations. • Analytical rigor with expertise in tools like Google Analytics, Omniture, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Hootsuite, Excel, Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
